Where's the fighting???

I thought this was called One Piece vs Naruto! Not One Piece and Naruto run off a floating block, never to return!

I understand what it's like to try to make a website, purely from flash, too. It can be really frustrating sometimes. I remember pulling out hairs, spending entire nights on it.

For a beginner project, it's pretty nice. Don't take these other reviews seriously, though. They've probably never touched flash in their lives. Keep at it!

I was skeptical at first

But I played my way into the game and got hooked!! I was thinking that it would be some other "demo" or a weak game, but after playing through, I realize there's a lot more to this game! It's very cinematic, almost like a movie.

Forget about the other bad reviews, though. They probably just played it for 30 seconds, said the controls were bad, then closed out of it. Bare with the game for the first few areas. It gets good, trust me.

For a 3-D shooter, cinematic music, with all of the quality effort put in this game, I need to give this a 10 out of 10.

Im glad you stuck through it. I tried to give it a cinematic feel with the wide open spaces and mothership battle so im glad to here you say that. It was a lot of work and i put a lot of love into it - it aint perfect but Im happy with where the experience is taking me so ik glad you could see past the not so good and enjoy the good parts:)

BTW Neox is the name of the fighter in my Planetcide Genesis game froa few years back - cool:)

A few questions...

Great game, very addicting, but there's 2 questions I have...

1 - In the beginning of the game, Sonny was given a tape, which was said to somehow help him in the future. Now, tell me if I've missed anything in the story, but I didn't notice any event, afterwords, relating to that tape. Is it going to be part of the story in part 2? There's a lot of unanswered questions in the story, and it kind of just dropped off a bit for me. I hope you're going to make a version 2, which clarifies all of those unanswered questions.

2 - ...What were you thinking when you gave Herrigods 1 million HP? I got him down to about 750k HP, then he healed himself for 2 MILLION HP...! Listen...I enjoy taking time out of my day to kill those special bosses, etc, when they're challenging. I, however, don't want to spend over 24 hours fighting a virtually invincible boss. There's a delicate balance between fun and challenging. If a game's way too easy, people lose interest, because it's too easy...they beat it fast. If a game is way too difficult, they don't want to spend every second of their daily lives trying to advance in a flash game, so they lose interest.

I find that this game strikes that balance of fun and challenging perfectly. However...Herrigods...that was too challenging. That boss is what killed the game for me and probably many many others.

Nice game...but PLEASE make it longer

I started off playing this game thinking, "OH SNAP! CONTRA/METAL SLUG REMAKE!" After killing off the 2 or 3ish baddies...there's the boss. I was thinking, "Alright, so, maybe this is just the first boss and there'll be more levels to come." ...and then it said the whole game was over, afterwords. That's why I'm giving this game a 9/10. Man...you have a great, GREAT game on your hands, but you make it so short. I hope you add more levels to this. If you do, I'm sure you'd get a whole lot more than just the Pico Day grand prize out of it...

Nice game engine...

Not much else.... after killing every enemy half way through the map, I decided I didn't want to spend an hour killing off the rest. This game will have great potential, if you add in some more sprites, than the current 4 you have; flash bad guy, chest, Pico, tree. Add in a story line, maybe some creative dungeons, or houses, things to interact with, things to buy..those are just a few of the good things that make games like this enjoyable. I couldn't find anything like that in this game, sorry. Nice game engine, though.

Great game...found a serious bug, though

Love this game. Great training for anyone who wants to become a real bartender, or just learn to memorize how to make some drinks.

Here's the bug:
I go into vs mode against Danny and about a round into it, the background will say "Last Call!" Then, 5-4-3-2-1. The screen would then move into the tips collected screen, then tell me I've earned a promotion. After that, I can't advance to the menu, since the "done" button will be disabled when this happens.

I've had about -1210 points till next promotion, ever since the beginning of the game, where I pulled off some 400k combo. I auto-level every time I complete a shift, because of it.

...But this isn't the bug. The main reason I'm posting this bug is because when I couldn't click on "done," I'd close out my window and restart the game, then load up my saved game. I noticed that my increased stats carried over from that VS battle promotion I had just Xed out of. So, basically, anyone that can use this bug could just repeat it over and over and max out their stats, without working a single shift.

Love refreshing games like this. It reminds me of some lemonade stand game I used to play back in grade school. Nice graphics and music! Keep it up!
