Frustrating.

I managed to get to the very end where you can contribute points to your favorite MLB Team's global score. However, it was VERY frustrating getting there. The outfielders caught the ball, even if it was 2 times higher than they were.

Also, the "sweet spot" for the bat was at the VERY END of the bat. (Which is not where the sweet spot is supposed to be realistically) So, people having problems with this game... my tip to you is hit the ball exactly at the upper end tip of the bat. That's the power spot of the bat where you'll "most likely hit homers."

Also, we really have no control over where the ball goes, as well. I've hit the ball on any part of the bat, and more often than not, it'll fly to the very right...conveniently where the outfielders constantly position themselves most of the time. So, half of the time (in the second to last game) you'll be getting outs if you don't hit homers.

Very frustrating game, nice graphics, and lost potential here by creating very repetitive/un-innovative/insanely difficult levels. 3/5

Absolute crap

...Obviously you know nothing about making music. 2 beats...5 beats...4 beats?!? DO YOU EVEN UNDERSTAND WHY BEATS ARE SEPARATED INTO 4's?! It was hard as hell to get everything sequenced up because the graph you made was utter crap. So, after I strug THAT off, I finally begin to start making the song. Wow...the sound sounded like each sample was sampled at 32 or even 12k. Absolutly distorted. ...THEN I hit the play button. Unbelievable. The tempo keeps slowing down to almost a pause, then speeds up. I couldn't help but laugh the whole time at this horrible blob of afterbirth you've created. Next time you make something like this...at LEAST test it out and know what you're doing, man.

For the 500th time, the uneven measures WERE NOT CREATED INTENTIONALLY. They are there due to flash player handling the locations of each beat imprecisely.

Fun, but lacking

Fun game you got here, but here's a couple things i noticed you need to improve:

1) The AI does not want to obey where you go. Try to allow them to overlap, instead of having them all re-lineup in formation. The AI for the computer is also kinda...ehh. Kill one guy, then the guy next to him doesn't even attack me...which brings me to the next thing...

2) Cannons=WAYYYYYYYY overpowered. I blasted through this game laughing my butt off because it's so easy once you get the hang of it. Just try building 10 cannons. You'll take out EVERY enemy unit ON THE MAP without your units receiving a scratch! It's like a 1 hit kill for every enemy unit, lol. Either lessen the firepower or at least make the targetting more inaccurate or slow down the reload times on it.

Anyways, great thing you got going there, though. Just tweak it a bit and it'll be gold.

cannons are only useful up to a point - if you play the full game you would get slaughtered before you knew it. See comments below for ai.

Hahahaha, thanks for putting this stuff up. Glad to know you guys didn't make the site just to appease the crowds. It's hallarious reading the reviews for people expecting "excellent and decent movies", and how pissed off they get watching it. Read the title, douches. This is Newgrounds, if you want to watch Oscar worthy films or whatever, go to some other site. You guys really need to lighten up, Newgrounds wasn't meant to be serious, after all.

I'm at a loss for words. You should really consider working for Capcom and work with the Megaman team on how to improve the game. I'm really impressed, a true Megaman tribute. This is going in my favs.

*spoiler* First time through playing, and i just got through the last stage with 0:00 on the timer with 0 lives left. Almost had a heart attack till Protoman came and saved my butt. What a relief! *end of spoiler*

Love the game

Just need to make it more so the ball doesn't stop so abruptly. It's very hard to make the ball go in the hole because the speed needs to be exactly right. I keep hitting it too soft and the ball barely moves...then i hit it hard enough to where it would seem the ball would go in the hole, but it would glide right over it. Nice try, just work on the physics of the game a bit more, and try to shrink down the icons/ball a bit.

What a breath of fresh air this game is to me! I absolutely adore this music, did you guys make it yourselves? Or where did you get it from? I love it. ^_^ I'd imagine this game took a while to program...this is going in my all time favs. =D
